Falling in Love with Being a Photographer in Tennessee

It all started with a compact digital camera that my grandmother gave to me. It didn't produce the best images, but it brought me great joy to create something so beautiful. Others could finally see the world the way I seen it. I took some pretty poor images of friends, tried videography and Youtube, and came back to my original claim of being a hobbyist.

Then, I bought my Canon Rebel T5. This hobbyist claim didn't sound so good anymore! With new and improved image quality, I began to market what I love to do most. I taught a Sunday school at the time, and asked two of my kids if they would let me take their pictures to see if I was good at it.

Thus, a new journey began. I still claim to be a hobbyist as well as a professional. I made my hobby into my job!
